The Niagara Falls and Mackinac Island Tour was a highlight for all those who joined us on this incredible adventure. From the thunderous beauty of Niagara Falls to the timeless charm of Mackinac Island, this trip had it all.

Our journey began at the world-famous Niagara Falls, where travelers were in awe of the sheer power and beauty of the cascading waters. Next, we ventured to Mackinac Island, a place where time seems to slow down. Accessible only by ferry, bike, or horse-drawn carriage, the island offers a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of modern life. The picturesque streets, lined with Victorian homes and charming shops, provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing afternoon.

We also visited Detroit, where travelers explored the city’s rich history and cultural landmarks. One of the standouts was a visit to the Henry Ford Museum, where we learned about the birth of the American automotive industry and its impact on the world. For those interested in history and innovation, this was an enriching experience that tied in perfectly with the historical context of our journey.

Another unforgettable stop was Dundurn Castle, a neoclassical mansion that provided a window into the past with its impressive architecture and historical exhibits. Throughout the tour, we traveled in the comfort of a well-appointed motorcoach and took scenic ferry rides that connected us to some of the most picturesque spots in North America. The combination of travel by ferry to Mackinac Island and motorcoach through Michigan and Ontario allowed us to experience both the tranquility of water and the vibrant landscapes of the mainland.

The Colorado Railroad Adventure Tour began with travelers arriving in Denver, followed by a scenic journey to Colorado Springs where they checked into the Drury Inn & Suites and prepared for the exciting days ahead. Day 2 featured a visit to the stunning Garden of the Gods, where travelers marveled at the red rock formations and explored the natural wonders of the area. Later, they experienced the Manitou and Pikes Peak Cog Railway, traveling to the summit of Pikes Peak for breathtaking views. On Day 3, guests embarked on the Royal Gorge Route Railroad, a scenic train ride through the iconic Royal Gorge, before visiting the charming town of Buena Vista. Day 4 focused on Colorado’s rich mining history, with a visit to the National Mining Hall of Fame and a scenic ride on the Leadville Colorado and Southern Railroad. Day 5 brought more railroad adventures with a ride on the Georgetown Loop Railroad and a visit to the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden, culminating in a Farewell Dinner in Denver.

The final days of the tour continued with a wildlife adventure at the Rocky Mountain Wildlife Refuge and a chance to spot diverse wildlife on a driving tour. On the final day, guests traveled back home, reflecting on a journey filled with scenic views, rich history, and railroad nostalgia. The Enchanted Islands of New England

Sun Tours’ Enchanting Islands of New England adventure offered a perfect mix of history, scenic beauty, and coastal charm, covering iconic destinations in the region. The tour kicked off in Boston, where guests were welcomed and transferred to the Springhill Suites, Revere Beach, before exploring the historic Freedom Trail and enjoying a Boston Harbor cruise. From there, the group headed to Newport, Rhode Island, for a scenic tour of the Gilded Age mansions, including the famous Breakers Mansion, followed by a Narragansett Bay cruise. Day 4 took the group to the peaceful Block Island, with its dramatic cliffs and historic lighthouses, before returning to Newport. On Day 5, travelers visited Martha’s Vineyard, exploring its charming towns and historic homes, before heading to the Red Jacket Beach Resort in Cape Cod. Days 6 and 7 were filled with exciting adventures, including a whale-watching tour in Provincetown and a visit to Nantucket Island, known for its quaint streets and picturesque views.
