Gay grew up in a Navy family, learning early on how to adapt, connect with others, and feel at home wherever life takes her. Her passion for people and travel naturally led her into a career in the hospitality industry. After graduating from travel school, Gay began her career with a Hawaii-based tour operator before joining America West Airlines (now American Airlines), where she built a long and successful career prior to retirement. Nearly four decades ago, Gay first discovered Sun Tours and knew it was a place she would love to be part of someday. That vision became a reality—she has now been escorting Sun Tours groups for over 13 years and has also worked in the office for more than 11 years, sharing her experience and enthusiasm with both travelers and colleagues. When she’s not with Sun Tours, Gay enjoys spending time in her garden, traveling by air, attending rock concerts, staying active through sports, and cheering on her favorite teams—UNM Lobo Basketball and New Mexico United Soccer.
